Consultation and Advice
We firmly believe that excellent client communication is key to a good surgical outcome. As such, we insist on discussing the upcoming surgery with the pet's owners. By speaking about the benefits, risks and expected outcome of the procedure, we get everyone on the same page, all working towards an excellent recovery for the pet.
Lameness Work-up
For undiagnosed lameness we offer a work-up service which typically includes a detailed consultation, examination under sedation, imaging and arthrocentesis where required.
Pre-surgery consultation
For morning surgeries, where possible, we will admit the patient and discuss the procedure with the client. For afternoon surgeries or where a consultation is not possible, we will have a consultation by phone or video in the days prior to the surgery.
